All About Me

 Who Am I?

Hi everyone! My name is Zaidan Ahmed, and I am 17 years old (almost 18 in a month😁). I'm currently a senior at Everglades High School and I am excited to finish my high school journey. I was born and raised in Miramar, but my parents are originally from Bangladesh. In my spare time, I like to play video games such as Fortnite, Call of Duty, Spider-Man 2, and many more. I also like to go to the gym and go out with my friends. I have three brothers: a younger brother, a twin brother, and an older brother. Furthermore, I love to play basketball. Basketball is my favorite sport, and I don't know what I'd do without it. I'm a huge Miami Heat fan and fortunate enough to get to experience countless basketball games in person. I had the opportunity to attend an all-access tour at the Miami Heat Arena (Kaseya Center) and it was an unforgettable experience. I got to see the players' locker rooms, training facilities, control rooms, and many more. Some of my educational accomplishments include obtaining Adobe Photoshop certification, Adobe Illustrator certification, and Entrepreneurship and Small Business Certification. 

Why Did I Take AICE Media Studies?

There are various reasons as to why I chose this AICE class. For one, I chose AICE Media Studies because I need to finish my AICE diploma. Secondly, I chose this class because of the high passing rate. I care about the passing rate because last year I took AICE Travel and Tourism, and my friends told me to switch out because the passing rate was low, but I did not listen to them. Let's just say it was not good at all... Thirdly, I watch a lot of movies and shows, and I always wanted to learn the different film techniques moviemakers use in their films. When I saw AICE Media Studies being offered at Everglades, I was extremely interested. Moreover, the class seems easier than my other AICE classes as I do not want to exhaust myself during senior year.
