What's up, followers! Today I'm going to daydream a bit and share my thoughts on what it would look like if I had unlimited funding to make my short film opener "Lost Signal."

First, let's talk about location. Instead of filming in a regular bedroom, I would love to shoot in a custom-built studio. I could create a perfect modern bedroom with smart lighting, huge windows, and cool tech gadgets everywhere. The room would have special walls that I could move around to get the best camera angles. I could even make the windows show whatever I want, for example, a city skyline or an empty street that slowly goes dark as the story gets scarier. The bedroom would have built-in LED strips that could change colors and flicker when things get weird. The desk would have multiple monitors and a gaming setup to showcase the aesthetic of the room.

For the main character, I would hire a professional actor who can really show fear through subtle expressions. They don't need fancy costumes, just regular clothes that make them look like anyone who is up late at night. Moreover, I would hire a whole crew of background actors whose "last seen" status we could see on the phone, making the world feel more real and populated before everyone vanishes. Lastly, the biggest change would be in the technical side of things. I would hire a professional lighting crew to create that perfect creepy atmosphere. I would also hire top-notch sound designers to create unsettling noises and glitches. The editing would be done with a whole team of special effects artists who could make the digital world fall apart in realistic ways.

Let me know in the comments what you would add if you had all the money in the world to make your favorite film!
